AWS CloudTrail report found under the Governance tab was deprecated on March 15, 2023. 

The platform now only uses CloudTrail integration for Policy Actions to notify Email Owner.  For example in the policy below, when EC2 Instance is missing tag CreationTime, Action is to Email Owner:

In order to assign IAM Users to Users in the platform, we use CloudTrail events to populate this table.  If we see a CloudTrail action initiated by a user, we will put that user in this table https://apps.cloudhealthtech.com/iam_user_assignments:

Once IAM Users are assigned to Users in the platform, the Assets report column "Owner Email" will populate which will trigger the Policy action to email the IAM User who launched the instance.

Enabling CloudTrail is not required for Olap Reports and FlexReport to show CloudTrail costs.
