Archived data is a snapshot of how the reporting looked at the time and will not account for changes made since the report was archived originally.
When making use of the Archived data option, located under:
You will find that Perspectives don't reflect their current configuration within the platform, this is because the Archived Data process takes a snapshot of the existing environment when it rolls up the data on the 21st of each month.
So the Perspectives will mirror their setup from when the Snapshot itself was taken meaning the filter values available will match the state of the Perspective as at the month that has been selected from the View Archive Data dropdown.
The snapshot will include :
- Perspectives
- Perspective Groups
- Cost and Usage data
