Daily reporting is delayed due to two factors:
- The timeframe that AWS cost data is received
- The timeframe the nightly processing job that CloudHealth runs each day
AWS data is not available in real time so there is always a delay in receiving up-to-date data as well as the additional delay for when CloudHealth runs the nightly job once that data is received. This results in a situation where the current day will not have any cost data available and the first full day of cost will be 2 days prior. Here is a breakdown of daily data available:
Today's date: No cost data is available (AWS documentation may or may not have received some data regarding activity from today, but the nightly process has not yet run to populate the platform)
Yesterday's date: Partial cost data is available (AWS cost documentation was received but due to the timing of when the data came in along with the nightly CloudHealth processing run, it does not contain full data for yesterday)
2 Day's Ago: The first day of full cost (AWS cost documentation was received and the nightly process has all data available to populate)
